Note by Richard Cumberland concerning a visit he and his father paid to David Garrick, at which time they discussed Shakespeare's genius. Cumberland mentions that Samuel Foote had introduced his father to Garrick. There is a notation at the top, "Dr. Johnson's Life--P 431. 1 Vol."
